My Background
I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been practicing psychotherapy since 1987. I work with adults, children and families. I hold a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in Psycho-Educational Processes from Temple University and a Masters degree in Clinical Social Work from Bryn Mawr. In addition to my private practice, I have worked for and consulted with several organizations providing psychotherapy and social work services. I've worked in community mental health, in an agency that provided treatment to those dealing with drug and alcohol addictions, as a geriatric care-manager, home-care social worker, in consultation with school districts, and at a health center providing psychotherapy to clients with HIV. I recently left my position as Director of Bereavement at Keystone Hospice where I worked for almost ten years. I regularly attend continuing education programs to enhance my skills and knowledge. I have advanced training in many areas including Gestalt, Trauma Therapy, Rubenfeld Synergy, Grief and Bereavement, Hypnotherapy, NLP, Psychodrama and Sandtray therapy.
