Connection, Expression and Movement (CEM) with Alix Amar, LCSW, CRS and Brittiney George,CRS
Connection, Expression and Movement (CEM) is a monthly bodymind integration workshop focused on connection, expression, and movement. Experience an adventure of body, mind and soul through offerings and activities designed to help you connect deeply, be supported in community, and express and share your experience. Workshops will include elements of movement, art, and/or various forms of meditation. Each month the discussion and activities will center on a specific theme such as stress management, emotions, and finding balance in your life. No experience or previous trainings required. All are welcome.
Workshops are held at the Resiliency Center in Flourtown from 7:30 PM until 9:00 PM on the last Wednesday of the month. See upcoming dates below. The cost for the group is $20 per person, per month. If you sign up and pay for 4 classes in advance, pay only $60 for the four classes. If you bring a friend to a class, then the cost will be $15 each. Registration is limited, so you must register in advance.

Brittiney George BS, CRS, CEIM, is a movement Practitioner specializing in Rubenfeld Synergy and Infant Massage Education and is founder of Life Imitating Heart™. She has over 15 years of coaching and teaching experience in various movement modalities with a focus in body rehabilitation. Her individual and group work centers around introducing tools to help her clients reduce stress, create new paterns of movement, ad recognize their own internal resources for healing. Alix Amar, MED, MSS, LCSW, CRS has been in private practice for over 25 years. She is certified in the Rubenfeld Synergy Method – a body psychotherapy which emphasizes the integration of body, mind, emotion and spirit. Alix has training in many modalities including Gestalt therapy, hypnosis, psychodrama, and sand tray. She specializes in working with survivors of trauma and dissociative disorders.
