I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker who has been in private practice for over 25 years. I specialize in working with adults with childhood trauma and assisting stressed professionals to reconnect with their bodies and themselves in order to create more balance in their lives. I also work with people of all ages who are grieving significant deaths and losses.
I have a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Bryn Mawr College, a Master’s degree in Psycho-Educational Processes and an Elementary Education Degree from Temple University. I have worked both directly and as a consultant in many human service areas including community mental health, medical social work, in hospice – both as social worker and director of bereavement, grief counseling and geriatric care management.
I regularly attend conferences and engage in continuing education programs in order to keep myself knowledgeable about treatments that are effective for my clients. I have advanced training in many different therapy modalities including Gestalt Therapy, Rubenfeld Synergy, Hypnotherapy, Psychodrama, SandTray, Grief and Bereavement, and Treatments for Trauma and Dissociation. I am a Certified Rubenfeld Synergy practitioner, an interfaith minister and I enjoy offering labyrinth experiences and providing educational programs about them locally and at professional conferences.
